Tegni, near Corwen in Wales, is a four-turbine wind farm, developed in three stages, with the support of Triodos Bank finance. The original turbine was erected in 1998, with two more following in 2002 and the last at the end of 2005. The three tallest turbines stand at 81 metres and each produce enough clean, green electricity to power over 2,200 homes.

Triodos Bank helped finance the release of new lines and increased stock levels, benefiting their suppliers in the developing world.

Cycles Maximus are helping to create a greener, freewheeling future. Their tricycle pedicab rickshaws provide a practical, eco-friendly alternative to urban city taxi rides in major cities across the world, from Berlin to Barbados. In the UK, the Royal Mail use their Cargo Trikes in cities across the country. Cycles Maximus bought their factory using a Triodos Bank loan.

Out of the Blue Arts and Education Trust has established a reputation for cutting edge creativity in Edinburgh and beyond. The Trust supports and promotes Scottish artists, including launching a groundbreaking multi-arts venue, The Bongo Club. Triodos Bank helped finance the flexible arts space, which hosts fun-filled festivals, popular performances and exceptional exhibition and studio space for community projects and local and international artists.

15 years ago Simon Kelly was so impressed by the humble blueberry he resolved to grow his own. When the berry’s health benefits were discovered and widely publicised more recently, the UK’s tiny collective production of 30 acres was swamped by demand for the ‘superfood’ and imports rocketed. Spotting an opportunity, and backed by a Triodos Bank loan, Simon and his wife Sarah have planted 12 acres of organic blueberries on their Exmoor farm, reducing the need for imports and the environmentally damaging food miles that come with them.

Formed in 1995, The Creative Consumer Co-operative actively challenges destructive consumerism through its shops. Each of the Co-op’s 16,000 members has invested money to establish a network of shops in Nottingham, Leeds and Newcastle. They sell a diverse range of ethical products under the 'Out of this World' name.

Since its foundation in 1975, The Ark Charity has helped over 500 vulnerable 16 to 18 year olds to find appropriate housing. Based in Milton Keynes, they’re regarded as a committed, caring and supportive family by their residents, even offering ongoing support services to ex-tenants. Triodos Bank leant the charity money to buy more accommodation and help the older residents find new housing when they leave The Ark.
