Renewable energy supplier Good Energy beat stiff competition to take the first WEBA award. Founder and Director Juliet Davenport said the winning was “a huge honour for me and the Good Energy team, and will help raise awareness about the importance of renewable energy as part of the solution to climate change.”
As well as the kudos of winning, Good Energy’s prize includes a £2,500 business support package from Triodos.
Organix was established in 1992 to raise standards in the quality of children’s foods. The business is ethically and socially responsible, and accountable to the parents who buy its products. Organix shares all its information about recipes, ingredients, and nutrition with parents.
Lizzie is a successful businesswoman who proves it's possible to profit from ‘doing things right’, with a commitment to helping parents bring up healthy families with an appreciation of real food.
Dance Voice was established 1989 as a registered charity and has pioneered Dance Movement Therapy in the South West of England.
Clients in therapy gain increased self-esteem, confidence and independence. Their self-management improves, learning transferable strategies that help them to access employment education or community activities.
The centre also provides nationally validated education courses giving training in dance movement therapy skills. Students gain skills that enable access to professional training or open out employment prospects.
